Parliament Street

Parliament Street is known as ‘Sansad Marg’ and is the most important place in New Delhi. It homes the famous Parliament House or ‘Sansad Bhavan’ where tourist visits are limited to strict permission. For special visits, one must obtain a written and authorised permit from the Reception Office at Raisina Road. This Street is also accessible via road, however, it is advisable for visitors to board the Metro from Central Secretariat and de-board at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station under Connaught Place from where they can get numerous prepaid Auto rickshaws and Taxi on hire to other places in Delhi.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is located approximately 19.3 Kms or 36 minutes from Parliament Street while the New Delhi Railway Station is just 3 Kms or 7 minutes away. The Old Delhi Railway Station is 8.3 Kms or 19 minutes away and the Nizamuddin Railway Station is about 7.7 Kms or 20 minutes away.
