DDA sports complexes started under the Master Plan of Delhi-2001. The main motto set for these complexes is to enhance the development of sports facilities for different age groups within reach of all areas. Thus DDA Sports has developed various sports complexes, play fields, multi-gyms, etc., all over the capital.

The purposes of DDA Sports Complexes are:-

  • To provide healthy surroundings to the residents of Delhi.
  • To make it easy for all those sections of society that cannot afford the memberships of prestigious clubs and those who want to be a part of it to enjoy. 
  • To promote various other sports that are not famous among people. 
  • To make sports a reason where all the people of different societies and cultures came together to learn about sportsman spirit, togetherness and helping nature towards other or more. 

DDA Pitampura

The sports complex in this region is at Rashtriya Swabhimaan Khel Parisar, Pitampura, Delhi. This complex covers around 9.57 hectares of area in itself. This specific complex was formed in 1999 and started offering memberships on 1st September 2001. DDA Pitampura is one of the oldest DDA sports complexes in north Delhi.

This complex offers health, recreation and training facilities for Cricket, Football, Athletics, Hockey, Basketball and Swimming to all members, wherein students and senior members can receive special discounts. The venue is available for use at a very nominal membership amount. It offers to coach for Cricket, Skating, Karate, Tennis, Aerobics and Yoga. Facilities available are a jogging track, six synthetic tennis courts, badminton, squash, billiards & snooker, a large swimming pool, horse riding and many more.

Accessibility- How to Reach?

  • The Pitampura metro station is on the Red Line and is 2.2 km from the Sports complex. The Shalimar Bagh Metro station on the Pink line is also 2.5 km from the sports complex.
  • The complex is well connected to the road and has ample parking, so you can easily take your vehicle.
  • You can choose to go by Autorickshaws or cabs as well. 

DDA Pitampura Timing and days Open

  • DDA Pitampura sports complex is open from Tuesday to Sunday.
  • The complex is open from 6 in the morning to 9 at night (summer 1st March to 30th November) and 6.30 in the morning to 8.30 at night (winter 1st December to 28th /29th February).

Fees and membership fees

The entry fee structure is different for each sports complex. To be eligible for a membership, one should be 21 or older. The membership fee is Rs. 150 for Indian citizens and $70 for foreign citizens.

1. How do I become a member of the DDA sports complex?

Those who are 21 and above can seek Associate Membership (AM). Membership Charges are taken every month, besides the entry fee.

2. Are dogs allowed in the DDA sports complex?

Pets and dogs are not allowed in any sports complex. For each violation of this bye-law, the owner has to pay a penalty charge of Rs. 500.

Fill out the downloaded application forms whose link mentioned below should be submitted at Admin Block Reception during working hours from 10 AM to 3 PM except for lunch hours from 1:30 to 2 PM at the complex. The membership fee is 150 Rs for Indian citizens and 70 $ for foreign citizens, and members only have playing rights at the sports arena in this membership.

Yes, casual membership is valid for a day. Anyone on payment of 50/can take them- and 150/- (Please Note: Service Tax will be extra) for every citizen.
