Brief Description: The Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium was established in 1883 and is known as one of the finest cricket stadiums in the Country. It has a seating capacity for over 60,000 audiences and has been recently upgraded with new floodlights that facilitates for a perfect day-night cricket match. The first test matches between India and West Indies was played in this Stadium way back in the year 1948. Later, in 1982, the stadium hosted the first ODI match between India and Sri Lanka and henceforth, it forms a prominent landmark for International Cricket matches as well as Domestic and IPL matches. The nearest Delhi Metro Station is Pragati Maidan Metro Station situated approximately 1.6 Kms or 5 minutes by car from the Stadium.
