Brief Description: The National Stadium was established in 1951 which hosted the first Asian Games. This National Stadium is dedicated to Dhyan Chand who was a legendary Hockey player and a Padma Bhushan award recipient, who had a winning streak of three Olympic gold medals in 1928 - Amsterdam, 1932 - Los Angeles and 1936 - Berlin. The National Stadium hosted the Hockey 2010 World Cup, Boxing Cup 2010 and the Hockey matches during the famous 2010 Commonwealth Games.
