The Kalindi Kunj lies between the city of Delhi, Faridabad and Noida on the banks of Yamuna River and very close to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. It is a famous public garden made with beautiful landscapes and fountains that offer a relaxing evening and leisure time for people living nearby and in the main city. During evenings, this place is packed with young people enjoying friendly moments together with friends and families especially during weekends where they spend a peaceful picnic next to the picturesque riverfront.
The Garden also welcomes numerous migratory and resident birds who fly here escaping from higher and colder altitudes during September and feed on the Lake. They live through for a few months till they fly off to their home ground post winters. It is opened to all visitors on all the days and preferably visited during the migratory months of the birds ideal for birdwatchers or otherwise mostly from afternoon to evenings and best avoided from late evening onwards due to its secluded location unless you are in a huge group together.
